At KELRN, we believe that giving back is part of moving forward. Our commitment to community care is best exemplified through the Kelrn MTB Classic, an annual charity cycling event founded in 2012 by Kenne de Kock.
This two-day event has become a beacon of hope and support for underprivileged children. With routes ranging from a 15 km family ride to a challenging 100-mile race, it’s more than a sporting event—it’s a celebration of compassion and community.
Over the years, the funds raised by the Kelrn MTB Classic, directly benefitted child welfare organizations focused on:
- Primary Care: Delivering essential support to children in need.
- Education: Funding schooling and skill development for brighter futures.
- Rehabilitation: Supporting recovery for abused and traumatized children.
Our team, alongside public volunteers and sponsors, organizes the event with heart and purpose, ensuring that every rand raised is effectively used. This initiative allows us to uplift those most in need while rallying the community behind a meaningful cause.
