Established in 1976 in Barkly West, KELRN began as a modest transport operation to deliver the agricultural goods of our own farms. Recognizing a growing need for reliable, efficient transport services, we quickly expanded to assist neighbouring farmers and local producers. Under the leadership of our founder, Kenne de Kock, KELRN soon evolved into a key player in South Africa’s logistics industry.
In 1985, we entered the refrigerated transport sector, and in 2005, bulk fuel tankers were added to our fleet. This diversification allowed us to serve a wider range of industries, including agriculture, wholesale groceries, cold chain logistics, mining, and the industrial sector.
Today, KELRN operates from two strategic locations – our founding base in Barkly West and a high-capacity depot in Pomona, Johannesburg – enabling efficient national logistics management. Our fleet, now 110-vehicles strong, includes tautliners, refrigerated trucks, and fuel tankers, all monitored by advanced satellite tracking systems to ensure 24/7 operational visibility and reliability.
